We specialise in solid timber, custom made furniture, hand-crafted from native Australian hardwoods including Red Gum, Blackwood, Jarrah & where possible, we use reclaimed timbers.

 

We select the finest quality timbers & ensure meticulous workmanship to create timeless furniture for future generations to enjoy. We use traditional joinery methods including mortise & tenon joints & dovetailing.

 

Our cabinets are made entirely from solid timber, including shelves and door panels. Timber features, where required, are hand carved. Our furniture has a hand-oiled finish to enhance the natural beauty of the timber.

Black Forest Furniture is owned and run by Les Kennett who has almost 30 years experience working with solid timber. His skill & expertise are evident in each piece of furniture.

 

Our workshop & display are situated in Macedon, an easy 45 minute drive from Melbourne CBD.
